that's my favorite verse. he's saying how innocent and beautiful his young son is even thought the world he lives in has been "raped and defiled". this song is very touching although i'm not sure when this song was written (anyone have a better guess than between 61-91? lol so i'm not sure if this was written for his first son or before that or after he'd had more children... either way it's a beautiful song :)
