To me, it's pretty much saying no matter how shit your life is at that moment, and no matter where ya at, there's always a home waiting for you. It's like an uplifting, chin up song.

Also, when the double bass kicks in at about 1:25, speeds up then it stops and out comes a breakdown, I swear that is one of the most perfect moments in music.
