I love this song and i love the fact that the album tells a story all on it's on, but however i believe the song itself has a greater meaning.

-This line might hint at the preacher speaking against the church/illuminati which would harm them.

A belief to fortify this stained glass disgrace"
Saint Micheal is the angel of death, and the prison priest character is saying that the church has become corrupt and hints possibly at a higher power behind the church? (illuminati?) and the church's use of fear or war (death) to controll people.

-the church's plan has become too effective in indoctrinating the people for it to stop
T"he truth behind our lives will be erased"
-The fact that if people found out the church was corrupted the foundations of their life would be broken down.
