I love this song and i love the fact that the album tells a story all on it's on, but however i believe the song itself has a greater meaning.

"I'll burn all the lives of this angel illuminati" -This line might hint at the preacher speaking against the church/illuminati which would harm them.

"When St. Michael sized means find an end to justify A belief to fortify this stained glass disgrace"

  • Saint Micheal is the angel of death, and the prison priest character is saying that the church has become corrupt and hints possibly at a higher power behind the church? (illuminati?) and the church's use of fear or war (death) to controll people.

"Too beautiful to change or perhaps too scared" -the church's plan has become too effective in indoctrinating the people for it to stop

T"he truth behind our lives will be erased" -The fact that if people found out the church was corrupted the foundations of their life would be broken down.

"A crusader begging for a crusade in which to die Where lead locusts pierce the heart of men And tie the tongues of those who lie" -Here it might trace back to the illuminati part. people belive the illuminati, who probably have direct ties with the church, controll life and war. They use propoganda to force people into war dying willing for a cause they don't fully understand.

"Cut the sinner, bleed redemption through the city streets That resonate in prayers of this never should be" -Anyoone that speaks against the religion is killed. Their deaths are paraded about as a trophy of victory over so called "god's enemys" much like we did in the crusades (reffering to the previous line.

"Someone plunged a dagger deep into God's chest and When he groaned it laid our entire civilization to rest When he pulled out the dagger and marveled at the pain he could create" -This is probably a biblical reference to eitehr Sodom and Gamora or The NOah's ark story where humanity denied God so god destroyed their civilization to start anew.

"We stuck another in his back to seal creation's fate -As soon as humanity starts again we turn our backs from God and now it is destined for God to take his people and wipe the rest from the planet in teh rapture.

Now we turn from wealth in the height of all our poverty A call that renders me ageless" -Further saying we turn our backs from the Wealth of eternal life that God offers us for material lifestyles.

"Turning he pages of a belief that's greater than us all" -another reference to the corrupt church and the modifyed bible.

"Amen to the fools and the cossacks and the pulpits Amen to the people who think there's still a way to help us" -This final line is the preacher making a comparison to the controllers (illuminati/church) which are the preachers and politcians(cossack and the pulpit (possibly one and the same)) and the people who are actually of a good mind that think there is still hope for a lost humanity.
