I think the song is about just breaking up with someone and having trouble falling asleep because that person is all that you can think about and all the memories going through your head. "All this time you were telling me lies", finding out that he was doing something behide your back or simply just that he said I love you and promised forever. Then thinking that in time maybe something will work out but for "Tonight i'll make it without you" and questioning if she should hold on to what she is feeling. That is what I get out of it. Great song with dealing with a break up.
