I love this song for the fact that its attacking the idea that to be considered normal or cool in society you must stay within its parameters of its expectations... you must act in a certain way, dress a certain way, have certain friends, be entertained a certain way, to have certain goals and aspirations... and if you dont do what is expected of you socially, you are ostracized regardless of whether society or the outcast is right.
