I think you have all got hookers on the brain. I interpret this song as about Hell and how if you don't do right, you are bound for The Fire Below. Fire Down Below is a veryold expression used in fundamentalist Christian churches (mine included) as an expression that you will Burn for Eternity in "the Fire Down Below" if you sin. Of course, I have sinned, and specifically with a little Red Head named April .. all freckles and ... oh, my, God. Never mind, I am starting to feel a bit warm down below just thinking about her. And that was some 50 years ago too. Anyway, watch out for The Fire Down Below!

But so does my football coach... and he is the spawn of satan... he says "Travis get out there and get some fire down below...." in other words he is saying that i need to get out there and move my ass....
