it's amazing :) i'm so excited for the new cd.
i guess in my opinion it's about a girl whom the writer (vic) was romantically involved, but lost her ("i'm losing a perfect thing") but he still wants to get her back because he still loves her, even if she doesn't love him ("i guess i never should have loved you but i do forever because you loved me"). i could be wrong, but i've gone through something way similar to what i described so it works for me :P
I agree with you up the point where a boy was romantically evolved with the girl described in the song. What I'm interpreting beyond that, was the girl was self-destructive and anorexic/bullimic as evidenced by:

ah that's really interesting! :) i never even thought of that! and it completely makes sense. especially because the "your beauty never stopped you" part.. i mean, in today's society, with the media and all saying that to possess "beauty" a girl must be a freaking size zero... but that's a whole different conversation, ahha XD but i can totally see where you got that from, and the whole "I'll bet you money as you're running to the bathroom/you barely started drinking but your beauty never stopped you" part confused me before, but it makes sense with your interpretation. thanks!...
