Ha, 1st post. Love this song, easy to understand, goes back to that old saying "don't judge a book by its cover". Seems like he is using this song to express his fealings bout pretty chicks who use people for fame, money, ect. How they might look pretty on the outside "If I tear you open wide, take a look inside" but they are really just in it for greed and not the other person "So just take off that disguise, everyone knows that you're only Pretty on the outside"

He's finally figured out that the problem is not him, but her personality and all she has is her body to cover for the empty void where her heart should be.
