Anyone read the book 'Salem's Lot? It's about a town that gets taken over by vampires.
-Where the creature will not die/I'll be using perfect diction/Even though I'm terrified
=vampires are terribly hard to kill even if you're using the right methods, and they are scary
-I've been meaning to look into your eyes/I've seen 'em a half a million times//I've been meaning to look behind your smile/So how did I not notice you had fangs?
=the townspeople and fellow neighboors that they've lived with forever started turning into vampires one by one and their eyes turned white and glossed over and obviously got fangs
-You were covered in cherry pie
=blood
-So you can't tell me it was just some snack/Uhhh... I think I'm gonna be sick
=vampires sucking the blood from the other people
-No I don't need no other friend/So I will not let you in
=once converted, the people would try to trick their friends into letting them into their houses, but a vampire can only enter a house if it's invited in
And I kind of think 'How have I not seen them like this? Strange...' should say How have I not seen them act this strange...
