I watched a "making of" to the video and the video is about the girl basically just thinking about being with the guy and wishing she was, however i don't think this is what the actual lyrics meanings were intended for.
I agree with TheMillerJ about it seeming like there was a relationship but isn't anymore, and one person has moved on and changed whereas the other hasn't.
I don't get what it means by "you'll wait until your first time, you'll wait until theres something wrong" though D:
