Can't get this one out of my head, a really mellow tune. On the theme of their consistent references to British Columbia, Elkhorn is a mountain on Vancouver Island. It feels to me as if the narrator is discussing someone's fall into depression (think it's "watched you cry" in verse two), and using the landmark as a vehicle to overcome the obstacle... though that might be a stretch.
