Yah I thought it was about a girl at first too, but when I really read through the lyrics I thought something different. Basically, it sounds like it's about somebody who tries to take all the problems of his life but can't do it all. The singer is telling him that he warned the guy that he can't do it all by himself and he needs God in his life to give his problems to. Just a guess
