I think this is the ghost basically saying "I'm still happy, and I'm dead! Why are you still so miserable?".
He swapped 'finitude' for 'diamonds' (sold his soul for wealth, basically), and now considers himself to be perfectly normal... just a little pale. I think he's saying that he and Tobi's character are very alike (Dead and alive/Come a little closer/You and I/Affiliates forever more), he just happens to be dead. But death is just a feeling. So Tobi should join him (kill himself? Seems a bit harsh for Avantasia :P), and then he won't need to feel or do anything any more:
Don't hesitate to sign right here
Don't be afraid to come with me
(the 'kill yourself' bit, or maybe less literal than that, I don't know)
Specialized in temporizing
Dead to faulty love and time
(Temporising = delaying action, procrastinating, waiting. Basically he's saying that love (especially 'faulty (unrequited?) love') and time have no relevance when you're dead.
Which makes it a lot more sinister than most Avantasia songs (except Another Angel Down, where Jorn Lande's character says pretty much the same thing. Although Jorn Lande's character is pretty much Satan, so that's kinda expected.
@D-Lyrium 12 years late, but I think my only thought is his invitation to join is not suicidal, but rather an invitation to pursue wealth rather than love because neither survive death, but wealth was more solid than Love.

Any thoughts?
