Comfort in distance but not letting the other straight out of your view is the keen sign of a breakdown in the fact that the distance just can't let it last. You're secretly happy with the fact that the other person lives so far away from you that the breakdown isn't a problem you have to deal with, but at the same time you're a paranoia-freak coz they're still your partner and they can do anything while you're not there to be able to see them.
Most people in long distance relationships only seem to get to know one side of eachother aswell because of the fact that they rarely meet eachothers friends or spend time around them, or at least in familiar comfort.
