David has such a beautiful voice and beautiful lyrics to match. I saw him in concert and he's absolutely unbelievable.
I think this song means he lost the one he loves so much, and without her, there simply is no reason to live. It almost seems like the breakup was some sort of 'death' to him because when you lose the person who meant the world to you, a part of you seems to die inside and when someone is asking him what his last request is before his 'death', his last request is her. She's all he wants.
I think it's well done, like all his others. He's an amazing artist. :)
