The line "Jesus stole my girlfriend" seems to mean two things: as long as she's only his girlfriend and not his wife they can't have sex and also literally Jesus stole her love away from him, her love has been redirected towards Christianity. Personally I love this song; it really captures the feeling of someone having atheistic views and none the less falling in love with someone who is very religious. Then when the person explains they don't believe in god they are automatically alienated and left alone.
