I kinda feel the same as what duckehegg and joe93512 said in a way, I think the song is somewhat related to abductions and whatnot, but I get a deeper impression than what the title may suggest.
The overall desire of so many people to believe in aliens and UFOs and in general beings or entities greater than themselves, to explain things or to have some sense that they have a purpose or there is an ultimate structure to life. I get a hint of epistemologic pondering, like what can we really know? Is there more to reality than we can perceive? What is reality, do other people see the world like I do, do other people even exist or is this all in my mind?
And then there's lines like "Does anybody really see anyone? Does anybody really see anything?" To me that's wondering does anyone ever ask questions like these? Are people awake and fully immersed in this experience we call reality? Or is everyone stuck in their own robotic drone state of being, playing victim to reality and getting swept along by what they "know" must be real and definite.
I know that's like a lot to get from a song, but I've been thinking about similar things the past couple of weeks and when I heard this song it reminded me of this kind of inquiry.
Great song anyways, I'm really liking the whole new album, sounds great live as well.
