I'm gonna eventually get flamed for this, but this song is about a stalker. I mean, check it out, seriously. Think about it.

The guy is just pushing and pushing this girl....following her around, spying on her. He's a friggin' stalker! And he won't let up!
The fact that Boston's musical and lyrical phrasing are so pretty tends to fool alot of people into thinking the guy has this girl's approval and stuff.
That's crapola. When you don't know someone well but wish to know them they catch your attention (your eye) whenever they are near. It's called INFATUATION (or lust, for somme). This is a beautiful song about normal human behavior. I do believe you've watched too many crime dramas:) He's even offering to show HER "sweet delight," which is not common enough in most songs about sex/love...it's usually just the guy gettin' it. I LOVE this song and, like all the other songs on the debut album, know every word. Great Great album!!!
