I like the ideas people are throwing around but I don't think its about a girl. I think it's about god (im an atheist so dont worry about me getting all religiousy about it ha). But the line "Just a touch, it's not enough" and "Is it any wonder I found peace though you?" immediately draw my mind to the subject of god. The just a touch part makes me picture the famous painting of god touching whoevers firgers and Billy kinda saying its not enough, I know it's way out there but it seems like Billys kinda saying god doesn't do enough for humanity or whatever.
@melloncolliezero I agree. Sometimes you have to have compassion even for the seemingly perceived nefarious, what you cannot comprehend or understand. Theirs is a sadness and suffering that most will never know. Our connection with source may seem faint or fleeting but paradise for us is within. If we turn to light it’s always there. For Demons, the only glimmer of light is the reminder they see through the presence of humanity so they attach to us. We share in their suffering so that we may understand forgiveness is tantamount for survival and redemption for everything that exists.
