I'm pretty sure a lot of this album has a lot to do with an ancient race (I'm thinking maybe the Mayans [Chichen Itza is definitely a Temple of the Sun.]) worshipping aliens basically and then screwing over all future generations in their quest for power, which they do by allowing the aliens to mingle with us, eventually leading to the destruction of the earth.
