I love this song, especially the acoustic version which is utterly gorgeous.
To me the lyrics sound like the captured solder of a revolution.

I love this bit and can totally see it as him admitting that he went too far in his fight, that he still believes in his cause, but he choose the wrong way to support it which is why he got caught: this is Karma.
