I'm not sure on the title "always running out of time" but it could refer to time with a girl or time to improve ones life.

So please stay far away from mine" She is telling him what to do and he is like I don't tell you how to live your life so don't tell me how.

He's wants to know if they can go somewhere, either somewhere actual or just mental or emotional such as love and those kind of emotions. But he feels the faster he goes the farther she seems to become so I feel that supports the love thing.
