this song definitely is about a situation where some other person hurt the person he loved "her scars" most likely both emotional and physical "bleeding through my head, MY HEART, my EYES). and now the bridge tells us how much he hates that offender "with every ounce of anger, in turn we know you're going down".
then the chorus tells us that the offender has been brutally beaten "your crimson (blood) flowing down, like water" and next he reflect on whether he had "gone too far" as he "stumbles down".
also when he says "we know you're going down", i don't think he did the beaten in group, but that his audience by now should know what his next action would be.
amazing lyrics to me personally, enough ambiguity (fuck =/= sex all the time), relatable, awesomely brutal + in your face emotions. fav part of the song is the bridge, heavy tension and of course guitar solo :)
