Love the new album and LOVE this song. I think it's pretty much about how we always seem to choose the worst possible people to fall in love with and it's telling you to save yourself while you still can.

Pretty much this is to his girl friend and how she's tragic and epic and his life is revolved around tragedy so it's his puzzle piece that finally fitted.
