Someone once, I forget who it was, Said, do not think so much You cant hear what your heart says.

My heart speaks In tugs and puddle-leaps And bangs my ribs to pieces. Thoughts are the safe bet.

I think "puddle leaps" is right. Her heart speaks in "tugs and puddle leaps" which, to me, means very short but forceful, frequent beats - hence they "bang my ribs to pieces". So she will rely on her thoughts as opposed to her heart, which refers back the the "do not think so much, (or) you can't hear what your heart says". I think it's supposed to be like a sort of endless cycle: the more she thinks, the less she can understand from her heart, so she decides not to trust her heart and tries thinking again...but then she can't understand, etc.

And how you razed me to the ground And how you wore me down With the sound of the shaming as you went out.

"razed" should be "raised". It's an oxymoron, or irony perhaps - he's put her down so much that she is as low as the ground. Which is why she says "you wore me down".

I adore this song :D Love Alison's music <3

razed is right. it means torn down.
