yanked by my wrists

In any case, this might be my favorite song on the album, at the moment at least. I don't know what crime she and Bess have committed, though.
From the way the song is worded, it leads me to believe that Bess is the horse that the speaker has stolen, and is the same horse referenced in the end of the song.
