I agree with the previous comments that this song is about looking at the negative things in life in a positive light, and in doing so, we can create our own destiny ("Take off the glasses that have treated your world black and grey ... Count your blessings and prepare to change your point of view ... Create your own fate"). A very meaningful and inspirational song for people who have gone through some very difficult times. This young talented band will go a long way (and can even become the next Nightwish) if they continue to write songs like this.
