This is my favorite song from Cartel mainly because I can relate so much.
I know how it feels to be let go to early. The song outlines a relationship that ended because she was not getting what she wanted even though he was doing all he could. She wanted something that she will never find. He wants the best for her but a 'faster ride' will only last so long or it may never stop and continue in 'cycles'. I do not believe he wants her back, I believe he is trying his best to let go by telling himself taking the 'faster ride' is not for him.
