As to the meaning of the song, I'm afraid I'm at a loss.
Perhaps he doesn't want to live his life like a dream, a fantasy, a "movie roll". I guess he just wants that simplistic, natural life--REAL life and not all the fake and unreal aspects like in Hollywood or on TV.
I'm not entirely sure about the actual meaning, but I guess this is a start. Does anyone else have any ideas?
