in video interviews she says that she wrote it during valentines and that she had just moved into toronto and she didn't know anyone and she just wanted someone to hold or be with or something, that's why it's called "february" air
she's also probably talking about her parents when she says "Please don't lose hold Of me, out there" since she was only 18 when she moved out.
