The song is I can say pretty amazing. This is the type of song that you can listen to when you're having a bad day. I have looked at the lyrics and tried to norrow down what the meaning can be. "Come with me Into the trees Well lay on the grass And let the hours pass Take my hand Come back to the land Lets get away Just for one day.."

Is saying that he just wanst to get away with his lover. He just wants to spend this time with her that maybe they haven't had in a long time.

"Let Me See You Stripped Down to the bone Let me Hear you Speaking Just For Me Let me see you Stripped Down to the bone Let Me Hear you Crying just for me

Let Me Hear you Make decisions Without Your Television Let Me hear you speaking just for me."

This chorus I think is trying to say that he does not want all the stuff that the media and the world is feeding people. He wants his loving person back. He's telling her that he wants to see "her" again and what she used to be without all of this. He's sort of crying out is what he's doing, saying will you do this for me.

"Metropolis Has Nothing on This You're Breathing in fumes I taste when we kiss Take My Hand Come Back To The Land Where Everything's Ours For a Few Hours.."

This now is something to thnik about. There are things Metropolis can mean. Like for one, Metropolis is a made up city in the DC comic books and the home of Supperman. If it were to mean that, maybe he's saying that the time they had together when trying to rid her of all the damages that have been done to her was something magical. Or if it was about a magazine called Metropolis them maybe he's saying that the magizine, full of gossip and new ways to lose weight, has nothing on this girl of his. Also when he's saying "you're breathing in fumes I taste when we kiss." Maybe she's not really getting rid of this monster that he doesn't like. Maybe she is just doing this for him and saying all these things are gone.
