I agree with most of the comments.. this song is about drug problems and how as much as you know you shouldn't be doing something that is terrible for you, its difficult to stop because, "oh what a feeling." I believe the drug of note in this song is heroin, not cocaine which later ended shannon's life. for anyone who has ever experimented with strong opioids(heroin,oxycontin etc), "Someone's pouring warm gravy all over me" is a good way to describe the high of feeling numb&weightless after a hit. All that aside this is one of my favorite songs because of the raw emotion and what seems almost like a cry for help through music.
