I agree this could be viewed as Atreyu telling off the ex-fans that now bash them for their change in sound. But I do think it goes much further than just talking to that specific crowd... It isn't a "fuck you" just to the fans, as xxw1ckedxx stated, but instead I think it is aimed at everyone who has doubted him, put him down or otherwise down talked what he wanted out of life.
Since they started in 98 and were independent for 2 years til 2000... the 10 years that hes "talked the talk and walked the walk" not meaning acted like he was the shit but did EXACTLY what he needed to do to get where he needed to be. He stayed the course and ATTACKED his dream until he got it. Saying that he literally had NOTHING but his blood, sweat, and tears to keep him going.
To me it is a motivational speak to his listeners saying that whatever you do, there will be people against you. fuck them. Stay the course, go for what you want most in life. And while some might not see the worth of what you're doing... there is "value in every breath"
