I'm a Christian, to say the least. Now that we cleared that out, I DISAGREE with what the two people already said up there.
Why do we assume that the song is talking about Jesus? Will not the false messiah do exactly what Jesus did?! That is very Biblical! How else is he gonna fool people into following him.
Why I believe this song is NOT about Jesus is simply because it says that the false messiah will bring destruction, and I FAIL to see the destruction that Jesus did.
With all due respect to my brothers and sisters in Christ, think BIBLICALLY, FACTUALLY, align things with the Bible and see if they fit exegetically!!!!
