Cover art for You'll Follow Me Down lyrics by Skunk Anansie

Actually, this song reminds me of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth - he follows her down to the underworld to bring her soul back. Only in this instance, she does not want her lover to sink into the darkness that she's in. She'll feel guilty for plunging her lover into the darkness, but if the lover is not strong enough to resist then she won't have the strength to resist either. Kind of a reverse Wuthering Heights situation - she doesn't want her lover to cut their life short and join her in death, but she'll embrace them if they do.
