I never "got" Sunset Rubdown at all until I heard this song. AWESOME. So much of it is made up of escape imagery and the necessity of movement; "if I was a horse, I'd throw up the reins", "you gotta move," "you can't settle down," but it also acknowledges that just because something's necessary doesn't make it smart. Run for long enough, and you'll run yourself right into the ground. It seems affectionate to me, but brutally honest.
