I agree with sheer_cold; I think it's about a loved one who isn't with you anymore. Whether it's a dead relative or a significant other who left you. I think it's about loss in general and trying hard to work through the present; 'just breathe' and try to wait it out as best you can. Just my thoughts, hehe.
