This obviously is a break-up song. Him telling her she did it to herself, Now she's all by herself. He left because she played him. 'It started off great, but who was to know, that love that is lost cannot be let go, you say it's my fault, okay then I'll go, It's better to know, now there's nobody to argue with, 'cause I'm not home, don't care who you're with, don't call my phone, Or did you forget you know you're wrong, I'm gone.' I'm thinking that he still does care about her, the love they had cannot be let go, but she blames him for everything that went wrong. He still does love her, but he doesn't want to go back to all that. & instead of 'There's no one to trust I trust no one no more,Just went with the flow,Found myself on the floor.' I honestly thought it was 'Disgusted with trust, I'll trust no one no more, Just went with the flow, now my cell phone won't blow.' & I guess he trusted her to much so now he's learned not to trust anyone anymore. 'When you went away, When you went away, All my pain went astray.' Just means that she was the cause to all his problems. & now that she's gone, he's pain-free.
