It's good to see that I'm not the only one that considers this song Iron Maiden's best. For them, it's understated, almost a ballad.

At the time I started listening to this song (a long, long time ago) I was dealing with my own doubts. My agnosticism has grown to something approaching atheism, but this song remains a favorite of mine.
