This song describes a hangover from hell, where you literally wake up with no recollection of the night before, nothing but a headache to remind you of what you got up to. I'm not sure why, but there's a certain sadness to this song, as if she is running away from her life and repeatedly ending up in this situation. Waking up next to complete strangers, with the days all bleeding into each other.
There is definitely a darkness about the song, and this makes it a highlight of the Circus album. I wish it were on the 'Blackout' album though, I think it would have fit in perfectly with the theme of that album
