I didn't like this song to start with but, it's grown on me. As for the meaning I think its about being in a really controlling relationship. I know a few guys who feel like they're dogs on short leashes. I feel like this song is talking about how some times in a controlling relationship it can be the girl doing all the controlling. Sad yes but, sometimes its not always the guys fault it takes two. I feel that this song is talking about how they (the guys) just want to leave and have fun go wild. Sometimes a guy just doesn't want to put up with all the lying and controlling. They just want to have their space you know what I mean. If anyone has a problem with what I think I am a girl and trust me that's how guys get sometimes.
