and i love this song so much, it just has an incredible sound, and reminds of their "songs about jane" days...i basically just think that this song is about a guy (adam?) thats hung up over a girl that has moved on (she possibly led him on or tricked him, because of the line "you got me completely, in my own game you beat me...or she might have left him because adam didnt want anything serious: "now i've got my freedom, don't i?"). he continues to wait for her, only the more he waits, the more he realizes he's waiting for a girl that, truthfully, he hardly even recognizes anymore. and now he's wrapped up in his own solitude, thinking he's lost his mind for falling so hard for this girl.
