I think this song is about how she knows that God (Jesus Christ) is there no matter what, and the longer she waits for God to answer her prayer or to comfort her she's just made more faithful to God cause thats who we all depend on. "I count this world as lost, you are all I want..." In other words shes giving up the world, and her ways, to be closer to God. WONDERFUL SONG and its so true (to Christians I would assume)
