This song it actually good, it's refreshing from all those songs about heart-break, boys and stuff. Singing about shoes, dancing and fun is what most girls would like, it's like taking a break from pain and boys.
A lot think that 'basically what we're gonna do is dance' is annoying because of it's repetitiveness, but I think it's to emphasise the point of what their doing is simple and easy.
Vanessa also state that for her second album, she wanted to try out different types of songs to sing. Personally, I think that's a great experience for her, singing differnt types of songs to find out her sound.
