I absolutely love this song. I no longer consider myself a Christian, but was heavy into 5Fe when I was. I still love their music and meanings in a broad sense.
One of the best things about this song is how nihilistic it is for being by a Christian band. It reminds me of one of the goofy things about Christianity. If eternal happiness awaits in Heaven, why would we waste time here with so much temptation and suffering?
