i love this. all the thank yous and the pats on the back could never amount to much of anything. they may not have been personally involved in the incident, but it's not the specific details of the event, or the specific individuals involved. it's the significance of what this shows. to me, it's about seeing the good in people, the idea of hope in humanity. this says something about everyone, and once you know it's there, it's forever. in other words, it's innate.
