I think this song has dual meaning.
The verse stanza suggest that he has cheated and messed things up and now he is going to be stuck with this other girl. He is masking that he is happy with this throughout the entire rest of the song (and in the video the lead singer breaks down crying during the guitar solo). With the fuse that she blows and all that stuff it is of course talking about a blow job. But the whole song is not that simple. I think he is trying to make the original girl jealous by pretending that he's happy with the girl he cheated on her with.
