can't believe i get to post first for once!

this song is incredible/beautiful/stoic/wonderful/and more...

i think that this song is mostly about a girl who the narrator has lost (i can't replace you, wanna give us another try); the main theme is how things are different now, and he's trying to convince her to give it another try like everything is better now and they'll work out (patience it's safer now)

he also tries to make his argument by getting her to jump back on board (don't hesitate to know the pleasure of my design) like if she doesn't think about it and just trusts him everything will be fine. he makes promises (make time just for you, make time for you now) which he probably won't because he didn't before hence why he refers to "now"

this song has quickly become one of my new favorites

ironically, this just happened to me. holy crap. it's like paul banks knows me.

I totally agree with fakeplastickees but i think the sexual undertones of the song are meant to act as a form of temptation for the girl being sung about trying to entice her back with memories of their sexual history.

I didnt pay to much attemtion to this at first but having being able to prize my ears away from Games for days song I found this and found it to be bittersweet which Mr. Banks does effortlessly
