This seems like it is talking about Jesus coming down to earth. It is asking the question, "What makes you think that God himself would just come down to this imperfect earth?"
Is it "just to swim around, to feel the clouds on the way down?"
Did he fear "the marching of the lamb" dying on the cross, did he "Find his fear" in his imperfect creation. It's definitely religious sounding. I just cant tell if they are steadfast against it or just questioning it again.
