Haha, I realised this in science class YEARS ago. I listened to Discovery all the time and tried to work out what she was saying....and then my science teacher taught us Newton's 3rd law and suddenly it clicked. A revelation :)
''To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction: or the forces of two bodies on each other are always equal and are directed in opposite directions''.
I agree with this. I've heard someone say it meant the third law of thermodynamics, which talks about how it's impossible to reach absolute zero, and as you approach absolute zero, entropy is reduced. What I thought when I heard it was, "oh yeah, sort of like how our feelings never reach absolute zero!" But that doesn't really fit in with the context of the song, unlike newton's third law of motion. Unless you take action, you won't get a reaction. Or, unless you face this issue straight on, it won't get resolved. thanks, glee!

I'm definitely not...
I'm definitely not hearing her say "face to face now". Or "you're stuck now". But I can hear her say "you are" and "with me".
The cut-up female voice is saying:
'It's the 3rd law'
Why? Because -
